Christmas Family Feud Questions and Answers
The holiday season is here, and what better way to bring fun and laughter to your family than with a challenging game of Christmas Family Feud?
This classic game, inspired by the popular television show, is a fantastic way to entertain everyone this Christmas.
To make it easy for you, we’ve put together a list of festive Family Feud questions and answers that will be perfect for your Christmas celebration.
How do You Play Christmas Feud?
Christmas Feud is a fantastic game for the entire family. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to play this festive game:
Preparation:
- Gather Your Materials:
- Whiteboard, flip chart or paper
- Markers
- Buzzer or bell (optional but adds to the fun)
- Printed Christmas Feud questions and answers
- Divide into Teams:
- Split your family and friends into two teams. You can have as many players as you like on each team, but four to six players per team usually works well.
- Select a Host:
- Choose someone to be the game host. This person will read the questions, keep track of the score, and maintain the flow of the game.
Setting Up:
- Create the Game Board:
- Use the whiteboard or flip chart to set up the game board. Write the number of points each question is worth and list the questions with corresponding point values.
- Establish Rules:
- Clarify the rules for each round. Typically, teams take turns choosing a question, and the team that buzzes in first has the chance to answer. If they get it right, they earn the points; if not, the other team has a chance to steal.
Playing the Game:
- Start with the Face-Off:
- For each round, choose two representatives (one from each team) for a face-off. The host reads a Christmas Feud question, and the first person to hit the buzzer or signal gets the chance to answer.
- Guessing the Top Answers:
- The person who buzzed in must quickly guess one of the top answers to the question. If their answer is the top answer, their team gets to choose whether to play the round or pass it to the other team. If their answer is not the top answer, the other person has a chance to guess.
- Playing or Passing:
- If the team decides to play, they take turns trying to guess all the top answers on the board. If they get three strikes (incorrect guesses), the other team has a chance to steal the points.
- Stealing Points:
- If the playing team fails to guess all the top answers, the opposing team has a chance to steal. They discuss and provide one answer they think is on the board. If their answer is correct, they steal the points.
- Repeating Rounds:
- Continue playing rounds until all questions on the board are completed. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Additional Tips:
- Keep it Light and Fun:
- Remember, the goal is to have fun and enjoy each other’s company.
- Prizes:
- Consider having small Christmas-themed prizes for the winning team. It adds an extra element of excitement and competition.
- Customize Questions:
- Tailor the questions to fit your family’s unique Christmas traditions and experiences. Personalized questions often lead to more laughs and fun.
