The sum of the first 10 whole numbers is **55**.

**If you have three dimes, four nickels, and two pennies, how much money do you have?**

You have a total of **27 cents**. (3 dimes = 30 cents, 4 nickels = 20 cents, 2 pennies = 2 cents)

**If you eat 2 out of 8 slices of a pizza, what fraction of the pizza did you eat?**

You ate **1/4 (one-fourth)** of the pizza.

**How many inches are in a foot?**

There are **12 inches** in a foot.
