120+ Never Have I Ever Questions for Kids, Teens, Families and Parties

Sharing is caring!

Never Have I Ever is one of those games that somehow works for every single occasion. We have played it on long road trips when the kids were losing their minds with boredom. We have played it at family gatherings when the conversation needed a jumpstart. We have played it at sleepovers, at birthday parties, and on a random week night when we just needed something fun to do.

Every single time, without fail, someone ends up crying laughing over a story that comes out of it. That is the magic of this game. It does not just get people answering questions. It gets them telling stories, and that is where the real fun lives.

Here you will find over 150 Never Have I Ever questions covering every mood and every group. Funny ones, silly ones, food ones, travel ones, and questions for kids, teens, families, and parties. No supplies needed, no setup required. Just pick a category and start playing.

How to Play Never Have I Ever

The rules are simple.

One person starts by saying, “Never have I ever…” followed by something they have never done.

For example: “Never have I ever eaten sushi.” Anyone who has done that thing must put a finger down, raise a hand, take a point, or use whatever scoring system your group prefers.

You can play just for laughs with no winner, or make it competitive by having everyone start with ten fingers and putting one down each time they’ve done something mentioned. The last person with fingers remaining wins!

Lets get into all the fun questions.

Making Never Have I Ever Even More Fun

If you want to take the game up a level, try building your questions around a theme. Summer, Halloween, Christmas, school, travel, or movies all make great starting points and keep the questions feeling fresh each time you play.

The single best thing you can add to any round is story time. After someone puts a finger down, ask them to tell the story behind it. That is where the real laughing happens and honestly the stories are usually better than the game itself.

For bigger groups, split into teams and see which team has the most shared experiences in common. It adds a competitive edge without things getting too serious. If you do want a proper winner, keep score and have a small prize ready for the last person with fingers remaining.

One of our favorite ways to use these questions at parties is to print them out and cut them into individual strips, fold them up, and put them in a bowl for players to draw from one at a time. It slows the pace down a little and builds anticipation in a way that just reading from a list does not. The kids especially love the lucky dip element of it.

Never Have I Ever is one of the easiest games you can play, but it never seems to get old. It works for family game nights, birthday parties, sleepovers, classrooms, youth groups, road trips, and just about any gathering where people want to have fun together.

However you play it, Never Have I Ever has a way of turning an ordinary evening into one of those nights people bring up for months afterwards. Someone always ends up sharing something nobody expected, and that is what makes it worth coming back to every single time.
