Can you name a shape that has no sides?

A circle is the shape with no sides. It’s a curve that goes around and doesn’t have distinct straight segments.

If you were born in 2005 and it’s 2023 now, how old are you?

If you were born in 2005, and it’s 2023 now, you would be 18 years old. Simply subtract the birth year from the current year.

If you share a pizza equally with three friends, what fraction does each friend get?

This is a bit of a trick question because if you are sharing the pizza then there is actually 4 of you in total. So if you share a pizza equally with three friends, each person would get 1/4 (one-fourth) of the pizza. You divide the pizza into four equal parts, and each friend gets one part.

What’s the sum of the first 10 whole numbers (1 + 2 + 3 + … + 10)?

The sum of the first 10 whole numbers is 55.

If you have three dimes, four nickels, and two pennies, how much money do you have?

You have a total of 27 cents. (3 dimes = 30 cents, 4 nickels = 20 cents, 2 pennies = 2 cents)

If you eat 2 out of 8 slices of a pizza, what fraction of the pizza did you eat?

You ate 1/4 (one-fourth) of the pizza.

How many inches are in a foot?

There are 12 inches in a foot.

What comes next in this sequence: 2, 4, 6, 8, ___?

The next number in the sequence is 10.
